Vivian Maier
really amazing photos!
Can you imagine that these photos were not known until after they were purchased?
The Hobbyf otografien was homeless and have their pictures (after all, some 30,000 negatives) given in a pawn shop and never picked up again.
in 2007 bought the box with the negatives, then by John Maloof. He was impressed by all the photographs and began to look for the photographer.
However, the search was unsuccessful. After 2 years he discovered in a Chicago newspaper, the obituary of Vivian Maier.
Since then he has tried to keep the story of Vivian Maier upright.
to 2012 a movie pass to its roots.
Vivian Maier was born and raised in France. In the 1950s she came to New York and worked as a nanny and take pictures of home help.
loved you and was therefore every day with her camera on the streets of New York's way.
Until one day she was homeless and had to give up all their photos at a pawn shop in order to survive further.
This remarkable story I found on Ignant .
Farina.
