MAX PAYNE
criticism refers to the ex-18 Director's Cut
very ambivalent is my relationship to the film.
course stands on it Max Payne, but that is really in it since really. Above all, just not him. The setting and atmosphere are partly really well with the absolutely brilliant game template. So snowy streets and a rainy, gloomy New York are the filmmakers, as I said, in places, very good. All the important characters for rather less ... at least in relation to the games. It's just not the Max and Mona that I know and that's just a shame, but the film as such is therefore not necessarily worse.
The story is also quite entertaining, if not exciting, but with the game ... well, we make the comparison easy ...
Conclusion: The film scored 7.5 points from me just because the hero of the movie hero is not enough. Neither the view of the template still in the light of my requirements for the hero of a Koolen style action movie. There's just missing something.

Role Models
Just funny. Of course, not particularly innovative, save for the LARP stuff, even more particularly, not even "very" funny, but a good laugh every few minutes - what a comedy aims for even more?
Stifler and the other guy 'are ne good combo, the 2 kids are mostly offensive, aug each bellows his way and both subtly unpleasant if we are honest and identification does not work out really, but you want to laugh even more so, understood as their "problems" that exist so only because of the Pointe.
sometimes pretty obscure and therefore more aloof than many other comedies, which has bagged two main characters as losers, the whole thing, of course, garnished with a little love story and you're done.
Conclusion: Dümmer, strange and funny, especially as I thought!

DEATH RACE
This time with Jason Statham, D
Action tired and without much fanfare. Jason Statham makes it logical to simply flatten all times. Predictable but worth seeing. What do they have big say? The scenario is actually not used as such, but to come armed car race and alleged opportunities from jail, but the condition that they engage with the villain of Director must, of course, that's been here and there - now it is combined and is fun.
Conclusion: Bumm - noise - hiss - Ratatata - Exploud - bla? -> Boom, etc. - KOOL!

Iiiiijaaaah ... nope. Kevin James as a sugar problem in the department store. 3 x 6 x just laughed and smiled briefly and then smiled a few times. If it comes up.
But the film is unfortunately 90% of vulnerabilities and the times quite apart from that it is only partly funny.
Fat man likes pretty women and disgraces himself, haha, now he gets drunk and makes mischief also ... oh, he falls into Low blood sugar coma and at best 1 every 10 minutes into the ball pit. Yes ... nope. The film has potential to be just completely exhausted after 15 minutes and all the oh so interesting history with the store robbery by people on skateboards and BMX bikes ... which Depp is ever invaded? ... is it really only saudoof yet. As the film as such.
Conclusion: You can look at the already times, if one should be real boring and you have to do nothing else. But one should not expect too much, or even begin to spend money.
